Joanie Conley is coming to Tunis with over 20 years of teaching experience both domestic and abroad. She has a unique background which encompasses research and certifications in regular, as well as special education to provide students with opportunities for success regardless of learning challenges. She is coming to the British Academy of Tunis from QSI International School, Bratislava, Slovakia where she has been teaching Kindergarten to students from all over the world. This year she will be teaching the Early Years Program at BAT and is thrilled to have the opportunity to live and work in Tunisia! When not teaching, she seeks every opportunity to travel, enjoy cooking, skiing and reading on the beach.
Lucas studied English Literature at Liverpool Hope University and has taught
at two schools in Liverpool, England.
He has previously volunteered at a tutoring program to help children improve
their reading. He has also lived and worked in Germany.
He is also a great fan of Liverpool football team
Denise Burress is an American educator with over 25+ years teaching experience in the USA and Internationally. Denise joins the British Academy of Tunis from the American International School in Nouakchott, Mauritania. In the past, she has worked at schools in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, and Germany, to name a few of the countries where she has worked. In her free time she enjoys yoga, traveling, visiting art museums, and her grandson, Jaxon.
